Our basic botox course will give you essential knowledge of botox to begin your career in aesthetics. The highly skilled team at Ask Aesthetics will guide you through the course, giving expert support and advice. You’ll learn how to successfully and safely deliver botox treatments, and then complete an exam to reconsolidate your learning. Not only will you develop your skills, your confidence will grow too.
Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin that can reduce or eliminate fine lines or wrinkles. The treatment of botulinum toxin (botox) involves an injection ,using a fine needle, into muscles that cause the wrinkles. This smooths the skin out by relaxing the muscle, while also preventing new lines forming. Results can be seen around 14 days after treatment and can last up to 6 months. This is an increasingly popular aesthetic treatment and is guaranteed to make your clients look younger and feel more confident.
This is a beginner level course, there is no requirement for you to have any prior aesthetics experience. The course will include pre course reading. This will ensure you have all the prior knowledge necessary for you to get the most out of your on - site training days. As for the practical element of the course, you will have the opportunity to work with patients as part of the two practical days onsite. The patients will be models provided by Ask Aesthetics.
All courses are accredited with the CPD Centre of Excellence and are taught by highly experienced aesthetic practitioners. If you ever feel you need them, we offer refresher days free of charge so you will always feel confident with your Ask Aesthetics training. With 10 years of experience in aesthetics, your learning will be in safe hands!

Course Curriculum
The basic botulinum toxin course is delivered through theory and practical sessions. Theory modules of the course are covered in both live training days, and pre reading online work. The pre reading ensures you are equipped with all knowledge necessary to excel on the course. The practical sessions will be taught on your onsite training days, and will ensure you feel confident and comfortable practicing all you have learned. It's not just the treatment itself that is taught, you’ll also learn about patient safety, how to buy your supplies, and how to take your career further after course completion. The following areas will be covered throughout the course:
Practical Day
Part of the course is a practical day, in which you will put your newly learned botox skills into practice on models. The practical day models will be provided by us, so there is no need to arrange your own models. You can expect to work with 10-20 models. There will also be an exam that you will complete in order to finish the course. Support from our experienced team will be available every step of the way throughout working with models and exam preparation. Both of these components of the practical day will help to consolidate your learning, giving you the skills and confidence to qualify.
