Biotin is a B vitamin complex which is associated with many benefits, such as hair growth and decelerated hair loss, making these injections beneficial to everyone, not just those deficient in vitamin H. Other benefits of biotin include increasing metabolic rate, speeding weight loss, preventing hair loss, strengthening hair and nails, and improving acne and eczema.Biotin is also an important factor in maintaining a healthy nervous system. Injections of vitamin H are more effective than dietary supplements as they pass straight into the bloodstream and bypass the digestive tract, resulting in none being digested so a higher dose remains in the body. This can be a stand alone treatment or used in conjunction with PRP hair restoration procedures.
This course will consist of a section of online theory and an onsite practical day. During your online work, you will learn about this mechanism of biotin and the benefit it has on the client. As well as this, key consultation and marketing skills will be developed. Once this has been completed, you will be ready to book your practical day. During your practical sessions, you will deliver biotin injections to models, which will grow your confidence in this procedure. Upon completion of the course, we ensure you will feel knowledgeable and fully confident with all aspects of biotin injections.The total cost of this course excluding VAT is £150 and including VAT it is £180.

Course Curriculum
The theory aspect of this course is taught via online pre reading. This can be completed in your own time and will teach you all essential theory needed for you to excel in your practical session. The pre reading consists of information packs and demonstrative videos. These resources will be yours to keep, so you can recap your learning whenever you feel necessary, ensuring you always feel confident with biotin injections. You will then complete a practical session to put your newly learned skills into practice. The following areas will be covered on the course:
Practical Day
During your practical day, you will use all the knowledge gained in your theory sessions to administer biotin injections to models. The models will be provided by Ask Academy and so there is no need to arrange models yourself. This practical experience is the best way to grow your confidence with this treatment. Full support will be provided during the course, and after completion, ensuring you will always feel confident providing this procedure.
